Debojyoti Mishra is one such dedicated musical practitioner whose work has repeatedly earned acclaim beyond the four walls of Bengal, resonating in the arena of world music. For the last three decades, he has been skillfully composing film music, jingles for advertisements, and modern Bengali songs.

To salute Debojyoti Mishra’s journey as an independent music director, a special musical evening titled “Alopakhi-r Gaan” (Songs of the Light-Bird) has been organized. The event will take place on May 24, 2026, at 6:30 PM at the G.D. Birla Sabhagar, organized by Bengal Web Solution. A Star-Studded Lineup this musical evening dedicated to Debojyoti Mishra’s songs will feature a stellar lineup of artistes, including: Swagatalakshmi Dasgupta, Rupankar Bagchi, Anindya Chattopadhyay, Upal Sengupta, Arko Mukhaerjee, Anwesshaa Datta Gupta, Samantak Sinha, Pristha Sen, Aritra Dasgupta, Sonakshi Kar, Annie Ahmed and Debojyoti Mishra himself.
